Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 13, 2026 · Effective immediately upon posting

This Privacy Policy explains how Learnix (“Learnix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit or use the Learnix website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). It also describes the choices you have regarding that information.

By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described here and in our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

In short

We collect the minimum information needed to run the Service and understand how it is used. We do not sell your personal information. We use cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics by default, and we use cookie-based analytics such as Google Analytics only after you accept analytics cookies through our consent banner. You can change your choices at any time.

1.Introduction & Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through the Service. It does not apply to information collected by any third party, including through any third-party service, application, website, or content that may link to or be accessible from the Service. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third parties whose services you use.

“Personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked with you. We handle personal information in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.

We do not collect payment or financial account information through the Service, which is currently provided free of charge. We ask that you not submit any sensitive personal information (such as government identifiers, health, or financial details) through the Service, as it is not required.

3.How We Collect Information

We collect information in three main ways:

  • Directly from you — when you register, create or submit content, adjust settings, or contact us.
  • Automatically — as you interact with the Service, through cookies, local storage, log files, and similar technologies that record technical and usage data (see Sections 5 and 6).
  • From service providers — trusted third parties that help us operate the Service may provide us with technical and analytics information generated through your use of the Service.

4.How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service and its features;
  • Create and manage your account and authenticate you;
  • Save and synchronize your learning progress and content across sessions and devices;
  • Understand how the Service is used so we can improve, troubleshoot, and develop new features;
  • Communicate with you about your account, including service-related and transactional messages;
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide support where we choose to do so;
  • Detect, prevent, investigate, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Service; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We may aggregate or de-identify information so that it no longer reasonably identifies you, and we may use and retain such aggregated or de-identified information for any lawful purpose, including analytics and improving the Service.

5.Cookies & Local Storage

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) to operate the Service and understand how it is used. These technologies fall into a few categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required to provide core functionality, such as keeping you signed in and remembering essential preferences. These are always active because the Service cannot function properly without them.
  • Preferences — remember choices such as your theme (for example, dark or light mode) and your cookie-consent selection.
  • Analytics — help us understand usage and improve the Service (see Section 6). Cookie-based analytics are only enabled if you accept analytics cookies through our consent banner.

When you first visit the Service, our consent banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time through the banner or your browser settings. Most browsers also allow you to block or delete cookies, though doing so may affect how the Service functions.

6.Analytics & Google Analytics

To understand how visitors use the Service and to improve it, we use analytics tools, including:

  • Privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics — collects aggregated, non-identifying metrics (such as page views, referrers, countries, and device types) without using cookies. Because this does not track individuals or rely on cookies, it operates for all visitors.
  • Google Analytics — a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to help us understand usage patterns, such as which pages are visited and how users move through the Service. We load Google Analytics only after you accept analytics cookies through our consent banner. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded.

When enabled, Google Analytics may collect information such as your device and browser details, pages viewed, interactions, and a truncated/anonymized IP address, and may set cookies on your device. This information is processed by Google in accordance with Google's own privacy policy. We do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally, and we configure it to limit the data collected where reasonably practicable.

You can learn more about how Google collects and processes data at policies.google.com/privacy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You may also decline analytics cookies in our consent banner or clear cookies through your browser. Learnix does not control, and is not responsible or liable for, the data practices of Google or any other analytics provider.

7.Legal Bases for Processing

Where required by applicable law (such as in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom), we process personal information on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract — to provide the Service you request, such as creating your account and saving your progress;
  • Consent — for cookie-based analytics and certain optional features, which you may withdraw at any time;
  • Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the Service, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights; and
  • Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.

8.How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With service providers who process information on our behalf to operate the Service (see Section 9), under obligations to protect it;
  • For legal reasons — when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Learnix, our users, or others;
  • In connection with a business transfer — such as a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which information may be transferred as part of the transaction; and
  • With your consent — when you direct us to share information or otherwise agree to the sharing.

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

9.Service Providers

We rely on trusted third-party providers to help us deliver the Service. These may include providers of hosting and infrastructure, authentication and database services, content delivery, web fonts, email delivery, and analytics. These providers may process your information only as needed to perform services for us and are expected to safeguard it.

Each such provider operates under its own terms and privacy policy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Learnix is not responsible or liable for the acts, omissions, security, or data practices of any third-party provider.

10.Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee absolute security.

You provide your information at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Learnix disclaims all liability for any unauthorized access to, disclosure of, loss of, or alteration of your information, including any resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for any activity under your account. Please notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized use.

11.Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter only as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and for legitimate business purposes such as security and backup. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained indefinitely.

If you delete your account, we will take reasonable steps to delete the personal information associated with it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required or permitted by law or for the limited purposes described above.

12.Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information, which you can often do directly in your account settings;
  • Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated personal information;
  • Portability — request a copy of certain information in a portable format;
  • Objection & restriction — object to or request that we restrict certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent — withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, including by declining analytics cookies; and
  • Non-discrimination — exercise your rights without receiving discriminatory treatment.

You can manage analytics preferences through our consent banner at any time, and adjust cookies through your browser. To exercise other rights, contact us through our contact page. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond as required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

13.International Users & Data Transfers

The Service may be operated and supported by providers located in countries other than the one in which you reside. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards apply to such transfers. By using the Service, you consent to these transfers to the extent permitted by applicable law.

14.Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it. Where a minor between 13 and 18 uses the Service, a parent or guardian is responsible for supervising that use, as described in our Terms of Service.

15.Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is currently no industry-standard way to respond to DNT signals, and we do not respond to them at this time. However, you can control cookie-based analytics through our consent banner and your browser settings as described above.

16.Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, resources, or services that we do not own or control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or data handling. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party you interact with.

17.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Learnix and its owners, founders, employees, contributors, agents, suppliers, and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the collection, use, disclosure, loss, or unauthorized access of your information, or otherwise relating to privacy or data security, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory.

The disclaimers and limitations of liability set out in our Terms of Service are incorporated into this Privacy Policy by reference and apply equally to it. Nothing in this Policy limits any rights you may have that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

18.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.

19.Contact

If you have questions or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your information, please reach us through our contact page. We will make reasonable efforts to respond appropriately, but we provide no guarantee of response time.
