Terms of Service
Last updated: June 13, 2026 · Effective immediately upon posting
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“you,” “your,” or the “user”) and Learnix (“Learnix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the Learnix website, applications, content, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing, browsing, registering for, or otherwise using the Service in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
The Service is provided strictly on an “as is” and “as available” basis with no warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Learnix disclaims all liability arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, and you use the Service entirely at your own risk. These provisions are a material part of the agreement between you and Learnix.
1.Acceptance of the Terms
By creating an account, clicking “I agree” (or a similar control), or simply using any part of the Service, you enter into this agreement. These Terms apply to every visitor, registered user, student, educator, and anyone else who accesses the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, school, or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity, and “you” includes that entity.
We may, from time to time, publish additional guidelines, rules, or supplemental terms for specific features. Any such supplemental terms are incorporated into these Terms by reference, and where they conflict with these Terms in relation to that specific feature, the supplemental terms control.
2.Eligibility & Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 13 years old;
- If you are under the age of 18 (or the age of legal majority where you live), you have obtained verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and accepts responsibility for your use of the Service;
- You are not barred from using the Service under the laws of any applicable jurisdiction; and
- All registration information you provide is truthful, accurate, and current.
If you are a parent or guardian permitting a minor to use the Service, you are solely responsible for supervising that minor's use, and you agree to be bound by these Terms with respect to their activity. The Service is not intended for, and may not be used by, children under 13.
3.Description of the Service
Learnix is an online educational platform that provides interactive programming lessons, exercises, quizzes, coding environments, projects, progress tracking, and related learning tools. The Service is intended for general educational and informational purposes only.
We are continually developing and improving the Service. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without liability to you, to add, modify, suspend, or remove any feature, course, lesson, or other component of the Service at any time, and to impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts or all of the Service.
The Service may allow you to write and execute code within your browser. Any such execution environment is provided as a convenience for learning and may have limitations, may not reflect a production runtime, and may change or be discontinued at any time.
4.Accounts & Registration
Certain features require you to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep that information up to date. You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including any passwords or sign-in methods;
- All activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you; and
- Promptly notifying us of any actual or suspected unauthorized use of, or access to, your account.
You may not share your account, sell it, transfer it, or allow anyone else to use it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Learnix is not liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials or from any unauthorized use of your account. We may refuse, suspend, or cancel any account at our sole discretion.
5.Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to, do any of the following:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation;
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, sell, rent, sublicense, or create derivative works from any part of the Service or its content except as expressly permitted;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, scrape, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code, structure, or underlying ideas of the Service except to the limited extent applicable law expressly permits;
- Upload, submit, or execute any code, content, or material that is unlawful, harmful, malicious, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or that contains viruses, malware, or other harmful components;
- Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or impair the integrity, performance, or security of the Service or any networks or systems connected to it;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data, or circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or security measures;
- Use any robot, spider, scraper, or automated means to access the Service or collect data without our express written permission;
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity; or
- Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or harm Learnix or any other user.
We reserve the right, but assume no obligation, to monitor use of the Service and to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms, including removing content and suspending or terminating accounts.
6.Your Content
The Service may allow you to create, submit, or store content such as code, notes, bookmarks, answers, and similar materials (“User Content”). You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights you hold in your User Content.
By submitting User Content, you grant Learnix a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, process, and display that User Content solely as necessary to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Service. This license ends when you delete your User Content or account, except to the extent the content has been shared with others, is retained for backup, security, or legal-compliance purposes, or has been retained in anonymized or aggregated form.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content and that it does not violate these Terms or any third-party rights. You are solely responsible for your User Content and for any consequences of submitting it. Learnix has no obligation to store, back up, or retain your User Content and is not liable for any loss, deletion, or corruption of it. We strongly encourage you to keep independent copies of anything important.
7.Intellectual Property
The Service and all of its contents — including but not limited to text, lessons, courses, quizzes, graphics, logos, designs, software, code, user interfaces, and the selection and arrangement thereof (collectively, the “Learnix Materials”) — are owned by or licensed to Learnix and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Learnix Materials solely for your own non-commercial, educational use. This license does not permit you to reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly perform, publish, or otherwise exploit the Learnix Materials except as expressly allowed. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Learnix.
“Learnix” and associated logos and marks are trademarks of Learnix. You may not use them without our prior written permission. Any third-party names, marks, or logos that appear on the Service are the property of their respective owners and do not imply endorsement.
8.Educational Disclaimer
The Service is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional, career, financial, legal, or other advice, and it is not a substitute for professional instruction or independent judgment.
Learnix makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee of any kind regarding the accuracy, completeness, currency, reliability, or fitness of any lesson, exercise, answer, certificate, or other content, or regarding any particular outcome — including, without limitation, skill acquisition, exam performance, certification, employment, income, or career advancement. Any reliance you place on the content is strictly at your own risk.
Code examples and exercises are provided for learning only and may be incomplete, simplified, or unsuitable for production use. You are solely responsible for testing, validating, and securing any code before using it for any purpose. Any certificate, badge, or credential issued through the Service reflects only completion of platform activities and carries no accreditation or guarantee of competency.
9.Third-Party Services & Links
The Service relies on, integrates with, or may link to services, content, and resources provided by third parties — including, for example, infrastructure, hosting, authentication, analytics, font, and content-delivery providers. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible or liable for their availability, accuracy, content, products, services, practices, or policies.
Your use of any third-party service is governed by that third party's own terms and policies, and may involve the collection or processing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Learnix disclaims all liability arising from any third-party service, link, or content. The inclusion of any link or integration does not imply endorsement.
10.Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you, including with respect to cookies and analytics (such as Google Analytics). By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy. Please review it carefully.
11.Service Availability & Changes
We strive to keep the Service available and functioning, but we do not warrant or guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or free from loss, corruption, attack, interference, or other harm. Access may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, technical issues, third-party failures, or factors beyond our control.
We reserve the right, at any time and without notice or liability, to modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it), to change features or content, and to establish or modify general practices and limits. Learnix is not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, discontinuance, or unavailability of the Service.
12.Suspension & Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice and with or without cause, including if we believe you have violated these Terms or created risk or possible legal exposure for Learnix or others.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including, without limitation, those concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution — survive. Learnix is not liable for any consequence of suspension or termination, including loss of access to content or User Content.
13.Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service, including all content, materials, code execution environments, and related features, is provided strictly on an “as is” and “as available” basis, with all faults and without warranty of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Learnix and its owners, contributors, suppliers, and licensors expressly disclaim all warranties, conditions, and representations of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including, without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, quiet enjoyment, accuracy, and non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing, usage, or trade practice.
Without limiting the foregoing, Learnix makes no warranty that: (a) the Service will meet your requirements or expectations; (b) the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; (c) the results, content, or information obtained from the Service will be accurate, complete, current, or reliable; or (d) any errors or defects will be corrected. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained from Learnix or through the Service creates any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you; in that case, any mandatory warranties are limited to the minimum extent and shortest duration permitted by law.
14.Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge and agree that your access to and use of the Service is entirely at your own risk, and that you are solely responsible for any resulting damage to your device, systems, data, or any loss of data. You assume all risks associated with using the Service, executing code, relying on any content, or acting on any information obtained through the Service.
15.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Learnix, nor its owners, founders, employees, contributors, agents, suppliers, or licensors, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages whatsoever.
This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, use, or other intangible losses, or for any damages resulting from: (a) your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party or other user; (c) any content obtained from the Service or reliance upon it; (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions, content, or data; (e) any errors, mistakes, inaccuracies, interruptions, defects, or delays; or (f) any other matter relating to the Service — whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, statute, or any other legal theory, and whether or not Learnix has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total aggregate liability of Learnix and its related parties for any and all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (i) the total amount you actually paid to Learnix for the Service in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (ii) ten U.S. dollars (US$10.00). Because the Service is generally provided free of charge, you acknowledge that this amount may be zero.
The limitations and exclusions in this section apply to the fullest extent permitted by law, even if any remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you; in such cases, Learnix's liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by applicable law.
16.Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Learnix and its owners, founders, employees, contributors, agents, suppliers, and licensors from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party. Learnix reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate.
17.Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws applicable in Learnix's principal place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and without application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
You agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy will first be addressed through good-faith informal negotiation by contacting us. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you agree that it will be resolved on an individual basis, and you waive any right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action to the fullest extent permitted by law. Any claim you may have arising out of or relating to the Service must be filed within one (1) year after the claim arose; otherwise, the claim is permanently barred, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
18.General Provisions
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or, if it cannot be modified, severed, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing to be effective.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights or obligations under them without our prior written consent. We may freely assign these Terms without restriction. Subject to this, these Terms bind and benefit the parties and their permitted successors and assigns.
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any supplemental terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Learnix regarding the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings.
Relationship. No agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship is created by these Terms or your use of the Service.
19.Force Majeure
Learnix is not liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of its obligations that is caused by events beyond its reasonable control — including, without limitation, acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, labor disputes, power or internet failures, or failures of third-party providers, hosting, or infrastructure.
20.Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Any changes are effective when posted. Your continued access to or use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
21.Contact
If you have any questions about these Terms, please reach out through our contact page. We will do our best to respond, but we are under no obligation to provide support and provide no guarantee of response.
